Christmas Card from Bates Y&R

The advertising agency Bates Y&R sent their customers a very different christmas card. Using Augmented Reality the employees are singing “Deck the Halls” on top of the card.

Showcase of new technology

With the Christmas card, Bates Y&R illustrated how new technology could be used creatively to capture the recipient. When seen through the associated App, the employees sing the Christmas song while their facial mimic follow the music. 

Animation and effects

To show the different aspects of Augmented Reality, we created snow which slowly falls and covers the card. The volume depends on the users distance to the Christmas card.
